Tips and Suggestions

  • Register and pay well in advance. When the spots are full, they're full.
  • Load your car and get plenty of rest the night before
  • Get to the venue early to be ready for tech. If you are late for tech you will have to wait until the tech inspector has time to check your car.
  • Bring sunscreen and plenty of WATER, even when it is not hot
  • Bring a good dial-type tire pressure gauge
  • Bring a good jack, don't rely on the factory scissor-jack
  • Bring at least one jackstand and USE IT if you are under the car
  • Bring basic hand tools and sockets. A decent hammer is good too.
  • Bring zip ties, duct tape, and JB Kwik. All good drift cars are held together by them.
  • Bring extra brake, differential, engine and transmission fluid.
  • Bring extra lug nuts and wheel studs. Seriously. Save yourself the hassle.
  • Bring a pair of gloves for handling wheels, tires, and other dirty things.
  • Make sure you have tires that will get you home safely!
  • Don't be afraid to ask for help; we are all one community
